"DIPAWALI"  often knowns as the "DIWALI" in India. The festival is well known for its 'lights'(The festivals of lights) all over india. The festival is mainly popular in 'Hindus'. According to the faith of Indian (their holy book Ramayna) says on this very day The Lord Ram came back to Ayodhya form 14 long year prison of forest( Vanvass). So his brother and the people of Ayodhya celebrated his home coming as the festival 'Diwali'.
   There are many phases of  this festival. The festival is also well known for the victory of  light  over darkness and the victory of thruth over faded shadows,knowledge over ignorance .
